An Ohio native, songwriter, arranger, organist, singer, pianist, guitarist, and drummer.

Joe Peppercorn has spent the 21st century in Columbus music: making records with The Whiles, composing for film, conducting choirs, and building the annual 14-hour Sgt. Peppercorn’s Marathon into a local institution. His music has traveled around the world, including the Oscar-nominated film Murderball.

In 2019, Sir Paul McCartney called the Marathon “a great idea.” Joe kept going.
