A Columbus tradition since 2010
What began with Joe Peppercorn performing Abbey Road grew into an annual gathering of Columbus musicians and Beatles lovers. In 2019, Paul McCartney recorded a message to start the show. In 2020, the Marathon became a livestream—and the cameras kept rolling.

The first COVID Marathon
On March 29, 2020, Joe rebuilt the Marathon in his living room: all 214 official Beatles songs, performed largely alone with loops and remote guests while friends watched from outside the window. The original quarantine broadcast survives on Joe’s YouTube channel.
